About the Artist

Art has always been part of my life.

As a young student, I seriously considered pursing art in college. But my practical, risk-averse side chose a more traditional path. For years, creativity lived quietly in the background, something I carried with me, even when it wasn't my profession.

Angry Bison Art began later, unexpectedly, with something simple; my daughter asked for a personalized painting for her room. Creating that piece reignited something I had never truly let go.

The name "Angry Bison" has its own story. During one spirited discussion, my wife jokingly called me a "stubborn buffalo." The image stuck. It felt honest, grounded, strong, persistent. The bison became a symbol of resilience, conviction, and quiet power, qualities that now shape my work.

Today, I paint in acrylic, drawn to bold color, texture, and movement. Wildlife, dancers, symbolic imagery, and quiet landscapes become vehicles to explore resilience, vulnerability, memory, and strength.

I create slowly and deliberately. Each piece begins with intention, not just to be seen, but to be felt. The greatest reward isn't a sale. it's when someone shares that a painting reminded them of a parent, a season of life, or a memory they hold close.

Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I continue to build this body of work, proof that it's never too late to return to something you love.
